Meet- Hiram

CEO – Hiram Photography, who believes that his photography is Simple, precise and memorable (How beautiful!:)).

His advice to me: Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. (Cue: Hope and Confidence!).

When I learnt that he is into photography, having known him since my campus days, I had him on my list of the people I should feature; we were able to do this in just 2 days! And now that we are here…

 

1. Why Photography?

To me, the magic of photography is that you can capture an instant of a second that couldn’t exist before and couldn’t exist after, you miss it, and you are dead! And also because photography pays my bills (Such Honesty! :D)

2. Where do you get your motivation from?

My motivation comes from my loyal fans, close friends who love what we do as a company.

3. How do you handle discouragements?

To me, discouragement is not the absence of adequacy but the absence of courage. 

I have always said that God would never discourage me. He always points me to Him, to trust Him. Therefore, my discouragement is from Satan. As i go through the emotions that i have, hostility, bitterness, unforgiveness is not from God. All of these are attacks from Satan. (Isn’t this encouraging!)

4. Best advice given?

Look up at the stars and not your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.

5. Whose work are you following at the moment?

I love to compare what other photographers are doing with what I’m doing at any particular moment. I believe I am my own brand and they are just as unique as I.

6. When do you feel more energized?

Whenever I face new challenges in the field.

7. What are you working on at the moment?

Mentorship- We are working to open an academy to mentor young talented photographers who cannot afford to join colleges and Universities.

8. If your work were edible, what would it taste like?

It would be as yummy as a hot steak. It has to be hot to maintain its taste!
