A group of 3 rhyme masters: Sydney, Rabsari and Dan Dan who hail from Rongai hence their name 125. They got serious with music in 2013 and their latest single #Bizna depicts what they are all about… Class!! 🙂
1. Whose work are you following at the moment?
In the Kenyan scene; We are following, Nyashinski, Sauti sol, Wyre, Didge, Johnny Vigeti and Blinky Bill just to name a few. These are brands we aspire to beat.
2. What are you working on at the moment?
We are finishing up our upcoming album as well as dropping a new single and video called ‘vicheche’ featuring Didge and a few suprises before the year ends.
3.Where do you get your motivation from?
Life experiences that we all go through for instance ‘vicheche’ means groupie for lack of a better term, it talks about a guy who loves his girl and is trying to make his girl stay despite his many female suitors.
4.How do you handle discouragements
We take them as they come, we just focus on positive and good energy focusing on the work and the people who appreciate us plus our faith in God keeps us steady.
5.Best advice given?
Best advice given, always believe in yourself, We think it applies both ways, look at Trump lol

7. Your plans for the future?
To put Kenyan music on the map globally, hopefully be better than the best in Kenya. More music, more awards, more quality
8. How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Its been a journey but we understand our audience more, our sound in general has improved, Our writing and image as well which goes hand in hand with the music.
9.What’s your ultimate direction for your band? Are you seeking fame and fortune?
As a brand we just want to reach as many people positively to inspire guys to believe in their talents through our art and as for fame and fortune; music is a business like any other so for work well done, the fortune will come. Fame is part of the game though our aim is to inspire young guys to believe in themselves.
